Sfh 3 juggernaut

The Juggernaut is a class in Strike Force Heroes 3. It is unlocked after clearing Mission 6, making it one of the earliest classes in the game. They have the heaviest defensive power in the game.

Tower is the unique hero for the Juggernaut class.

JuggernautMarine

Appearance[]

Juggernauts are formidable soldiers known for their massive size and heavily armored appearance. They typically come in two variations, distinguished by their head and body armor.

The first variation features a helmet resembling that of a space marine, with a transparent visor that allows the Juggernaut's face to be seen. The second variation covers the Juggernaut's face entirely.

In terms of body armor, one variation appears to be made of metal, while the other is a heavy Kevlar body armor. The enigmatic Tower Juggernaut features a unique helmet that also covers his face.

Playstyle[]

Juggernauts are a tank/close range class, wielding powerful shotguns and elemental primary weapons, but only having access to SMG and blade secondary weapons.

Both of their killstreaks give them a full set of armor along with another effect: Flame Armor ignites nearby enemies for 7 seconds, while "I'm the Juggernaut" reflects all bullets for 7 seconds.

The juggernaut's traits both help them do extra damage, but they are more defensive: Deflective Armor gives an 8% chance to reflect any bullet back at the enemy, and Vital Bomb sets off an explosion when the juggernaut dies, damaging anyone nearby.

The juggernaut's upgrades reflect their defensive nature; the first and third columns are defensive, while the middle is utility.

Juggernauts are the class with the highest health (300 HP maximum).

Strategies[]

As[]

When playing as Juggernaut, your main objective is to defeat your enemies from up close. Charging into battle, beware of Snipers, as most of them are often equipped with Sniper rifles, which have high accuracy and can take you out quickly from afar. If you see one of them, hide behind any barriers to make sure they can't target you and then ambush them. Try to use Defriender shotgun or shotguns with Advanced Rifling as they can give you high firepower on relatively long ranges.

It is also important to play defensive as a Juggernaut as one of their abilities allows them to deflect incoming shots by chance, which can likely save their teammates' lives and sometimes killing an unsuspected target. Their high health allows them to survive explosive attacks up to and including their current level, unlike most classes, making them useful for facing enemies with explosive weapons.

Against[]

Juggernauts can be tricky to defeat. Since they achieve maximum damage at close range, you should fight them at a long or medium distance. However, do note that their hitbox is huge, making them easier to target. Do not let them get close to you as they can become a real threat. Engineers and Snipers are both effective classes against the Juggernaut. Engineers can call in reinforcements to help increase the damage done to them. Shotgun Turrets, Rocket Sentries and the Engineer himself all have high accuracy while fighting against threats, allowing them to deal damage against Juggernauts quickly. Snipers can attack from afar, making it so that Juggernauts are unable to fight back. Snipers with Wall Hack killstreak is a top priority as when they attempt to shoot through solid objects, Juggernauts will have a hard time trying to reach them due to their slow speed, making it easier to deal with them. Elite's Satelite Beam killstreak can briefly freeze enemy Juggernauts, allowing their teammates to deal more damage to them. Gunslingers' killstreaks can help maximize damage done towards Juggernauts, making them less of a threat.

Watch out whenever enemy Juggernauts activate their defensive killstreak "I'm the Juggernaut". Impatient players tend to fire deadly weapons directly at them, which can cause them to die instead of their target. Avoid spamming shots while they are in this state as this will risk you getting killed from the deflection.

Traits[]

Deflective Armor - 7% chance the bullet will be deflected, but you still take damage.

Vital Bomb - Rigs himself with explosives and explodes on death, damaging nearby enemies. (This trait currently doesn't work-you can search for patched clients which fix this trait back to normal. However watch out for any potential virus attacks, it is recommended to have an antivirus program in your PC to achieve maximum security.)

Killstreaks[]

Flame Armor - Gets a flaming shield which ignites nearby enemies, along with full armor set.

"I'm The Juggernaut" - All bullets get deflected but you still take damage. (big version of Deflective Armor). The shield kinda looks like a worried face...

Max Statistics[]

Health 300
Critical Chance 10%
AI Aim 5
AI Mobility 6
AI Aggression 6

Tips[]

The R870 and its custom variant are highly recommended weapons to use with the Juggernaut due to the damage and range they give. Juggernauts are known to be heavy and slow, and closing in on enemies will therefore be difficult if they retreat from you, so having long range is good for killing enemies before they escape your reach.

Trivia[]

  • One of the possible outfits is a reference to Starcraft series's marine
  • The clear helmet variation may be a reference to Rooster Teeth's "Red VS Blue" as a character named "The Meta" or "Agent Maine"
  • The clear helmet variation also bears resemblance to the Bulldozer from Payday: The Heist
