Blades are melee weapons and therefore don't shoot projectiles. The Player needs to be close to the enemy to swing the blade and damage enemy. The only exceptions are the Katana and the Hattori Hanzo which have the option of reflecting an opponent's projectiles back towards them. The main advantage of blades is their lack of reliance on ammunition, allowing you to use them indefinitely. However, they usually have a slow fire rate.
When using Blades, beware of where your squadmates are moving as swinging near them can also take them out.
Custom blades are improved versions of normal blades.
- Despite being called blades, some of these weapons are more like bludgeons and strike enemies with thwacks instead of slices.
