Bennett's Doom
Information
Slot Primary
Type Explosive
Class Mercenary

Engineer

Special Effect "Instant projectile speed"

Bennett's Doom is a Custom Explosive weapon and the custom version of M202 rocket launcher.

Appearance[]

Bennett's Doom is a rectangular launcher tube with 4 launch openings at the front, equipped with two laser sights which helps make it one of the most accurate rocket launchers in SFH3. The launcher also features many grey splashes along the side with 2 grey straps in the middle. The entire tube is colored in gold.

Description[]

The Bennett's Doom is a multi-shot rocket launcher with four rockets per clip. It has a high fire rate and very high accuracy.

It has the highest damage per second (DPS) than any other weapon in the game, even higher than the Big Willy.

Special effect:[]

Projectiles shot by this weapon hit their targets instantly akin to a Sniper.

Overview[]

Fast and extremely powerful, the Bennett's Doom is arguably the best rocket launcher in the game, rivaled only by the Dragon's Breath. Due to great long range, projectile speed, and accuracy, this rocket launcher can be used on the final mission to quickly take out the bosses by firing from upper platforms or in the corner. Besides the risk of suicide that all Explosive weapons share, the only real flaw of this weapon is the low ammo capacity.

Make sure to pick up ammo packs often, or simply add the Scavenger mod (it's an upgrade, so pray that your merc has it or find it in the Slot Machine) and the Drum Mag to make your Bennett's Doom flawless. Have a secondary weapon which is good at a short range like the Rightous Bizon or the P90, or any type of blade that can dispatch people in a jiffy (the Big Willy and Hattori Hanzo are the best choices). You will need to resort to these weapons should the Bennett's Doom run out of ammo.

This weapon is one of the best choices for the Mercenary (depending on your playstyle, you may find Iron Curtain better for the Engineer), although other custom rocket launchers (Dragon's Breath and Tank Buster) have a huge advantage with Drum Mag (infinite ammo and no reloads). However, it is only a bug that can be fixed in future.

Trivia[]

  • The name of this weapon is a reference to the Commando film, where the main villain named Bennett fights against protagonist John Matrix (Arnold Schwarzenegger), who uses the M202. The M202 was known as the Commando in SFH 1, 2 and the Extraction spin-off.
  • It doesn't show the mags coming in and out when you reload, as the animation is just the character brushing their hand against the launching sight.
